Having played two rounds of golf at my home course in FL this past week, I could only dream of playing a round or two in New England with the crisp air as the leaves begin to show their brilliant colors. And that dream is exactly why we chose September 22nd to host the Napier Financial Jimmy Fund Open.
This year’s event will be at Indian Pond Country Club. Under new ownership with a complete overhaul of dining and other club services behind them, this event will be second to none.
As always, your contribution goes 100% to fund cancer research while Napier Financial foots all the bills… lunch, golf and an outstanding 19th hole gathering with an open bar and fantastic heavy appetizers.
This is our 11th year hosting on behalf of Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and we couldn’t be any prouder. We have seen our contributions go directly to experimental research for specific types of cancer; The type of research that simply wouldn’t happen without the generosity of our friends like you.
We chose cancer research because everyone has either had or been impacted from a loved one’s diagnosis. We then chose Dana Farber because they are the world leader in new patents year in and year out for treatments to extend life and potentially cure certain types of cancer. This year we again honor our dear friends Mike and Patti Aizenstadt.
At our 19th hole celebration, you will hear directly from Oncologists at Dana Farber who will provide you the latest news regarding major breakthroughs and the use of our funds. FYI… our tournaments have raised more than $502,000 since we began 11 years ago… placing us in the top ten golf fund raisers for all of the Jimmy Fund in the USA.
