As you may know, this September 22 will be our 10th annual Napier Financial Jimmy Fund Golf event. It supports a cause near and dear to our hearts, and it’s a significant milestone worth explaining.
Allow me to speak hypothetically… in 10 years time, a simple idea could translate directly into the most effective cancer treatment on the market. It could someday lead to a cure. Without the generosity of donors those fledgling ideas don’t get to see the light of day, as funding does not go towards early research.
Lots of progress has been made in cancer treatments since we began this endeavor 10 years ago. Each year, we dedicate our efforts to a loved one who has been stricken with cancer. For the third year in a row, our featured “Honorees” happen to be our largest contributors and friends for over 30 years, Mike and Patti Aizenstadt. Mike and his lovely wife Patti have been dealing with cancer for 3 ½ years now. In fact, so much progress has been made in cancer research over the last 10 years that Mike wouldn’t be alive today if he had contracted his lethal form of Leukemia just a decade ago.
We have all been affected by cancer. We all have either had it, lost a loved one or watched someone close to you grind through the treatments. It affects the young and the old, the athletes and artists, the parents, grandparents and children.
We send our heartfelt appreciation to our contributors. We can’t say it enough or too often. We appreciate your support and want you to know that you are making a big impact.
Our list of supporters is long, and we will pay special tribute to you on the day of our outing.
Thank You.
