There’s a lot I’m grateful for in life. One thing I am uniquely grateful for is the incredible multi-generational team we’ve been able to build at Napier Financial. When you spend a few decades giving 100% effort on behalf of your clients, it matters a great deal who you find to join you, and someday, carry on the work. (No, this is not a retirement announcement.)
For your amusement, I asked to share a behind-the-scenes moment from a recent interview day. This moment happened when the cameraman asked, “So how did you and Alex meet?”
It was about 15 years ago at a networking event, where I kindly told him, “We’re not in the same ballpark.” To his credit, Alex was undeterred, even more motivated, and won my respect over the coming months. The rest is history.
I feel that way about the entire next generation team we’ve assembled at Napier. I’m grateful for each one of them. They are more than capable of stewarding the legacy we’ve created of serving our clients with excellence. I’m still here and having a blast, but I’m incredibly grateful to know Napier and its clients are in strong hands.
