A few weeks back, we welcomed Yoyo Chen to the Napier Financial team. She joined our operations team, and most people on this weekly newsletter will connect with Yoyo (if they haven’t already) in the next few weeks or months. Not only is Yoyo smart and has a wonderfully warm personality, she has a bunch of favorites and fun facts we wanted to share.
- Favorite food: Steak or sushi (She loves them both, can’t choose just one!)
- Favorite dessert: Acai Bowls from Playa Bowl
- Favorite and recent country traveled: China
Yoyo wanted to share a little story about some recent travel after graduation this winter. She went to China with her mom to visit family who live in Shenzhen. The transition from winter to summer over a plane ride was a shock to the system. Yoyo went to Beijing among many other historical places worth noting. They were:
- Great Wall of China
- The Forbidden City (Palace where emperor lives with his queen and concubines)
- The Temple of Heaven (temple where the royal families and nobles pray for good harvest)
- Prince Gong Mansion
What Yoyo told the team was that visiting the famous capital and the places during the biggest holiday week (Chinese New Year) is 5 times worse than visiting the Universal Studio or Disney in Orlando during the summer.
Aside from the beautiful views and delicious foods there, the most valuable moments for Yoyo was visiting with her great-grandmother. She got to spend time with her despite being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
As you start to see Yoyo copied on emails, she starts to reach out to set a meeting, or help execute part of your financial plan, please say hello. She will be a great addition to the team as she helps everyone follow up and follow through.
Until next time….
Here are some of Yoyo’s photos from her trip to China…
