PMC is short for the Pan-Mass Challenge. Just like our Jimmy Fund golf tournament, this is another charity event focused on raising awareness and money for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Unfortunately, cancer has affected all of us directly or indirectly during our lifetimes. This weekend I had the great honor of watching both my brother (Nate) and brother-in-law (Eddie) ride in the event – a 162 mile bike trek from Wellesley MA to Provincetown MA.

They are not the only people we know that made the journey as we had other friends, clients, and neighbors join for this great cause. The only issue is when you want to watch them – it is like standing next to a racetrack watching cars go by at 100 mph. It is hard to identify a rider, let alone know when to say hello. With all that said, Uncle Nate and Uncle Eddie both stopped mid-route to say hello to some of their top supporters and fans. You can also stop at one of the many water locations. It was just too hot to bring the youngest around all day and bake in the sun.

We all know it has been pretty hot lately. Even at 9:00 on Saturday morning in the shade with an iced coffee in hand, it was quite hot being a spectator. I could only imagine if I were 30 miles in and 130 left to go! Both made it across the finish line even with the extreme heat. We wanted to share a few pictures, including a friend of the firm who rode in honor of his father. Instead of writing more, I thought I would share a few pictures instead:
