A record-breaking year in the books! This past Friday we held our 8th Annual Napier Financial Jimmy Fund Golf Tournament in honor of Mike Aizenstadt to benefit research, treatment, and the eventual cure of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Due to the unbelievable generosity of individuals, families, and local businesses, we achieved our goal of raising over $150,000 for the Jimmy Fund & Dana Farber Cancer Institute. We are extremely proud of this achievement, which reflects the wonderful community we are a part of and its commitment to undertake massive challenges, while taking care of one another.
There are (literally) hundreds of people to thank for making this event happen, but none more than our Jenn Kovalski for organizing such a successful day at Scituate Country Club. Jenn spends all year working with vendors, donors, Jimmy Fund reps, clients, etc. to ensure the best possible outcome. It goes without saying that once again, she knocked it out of the park.
We wanted to share a few of our favorite snapshots from the day, including the handoff of our $150,000 donation check to Mike & his doctor, Dr. John Koreth, who spoke about the cutting-edge research and treatment that donations like this enables.
Once again, we deeply thank each and every one of you that helped make Friday such a special day. We look forward to continuing our mission to help the lives of the people and companies we work with by getting closer to eradicate cancer from our lives.
We’ve added a few photos from the day. Want to see more? Check out our Facebook page.
