Just two days ago, we wrapped up our 10th annual Jimmy Fund Golf Tournament to raise money and awareness for Dana-Farber Cancer Research. We want to thank each person that helped obtain this goal as we did surpass $207,000 raised in 2025.
Our efforts started off very grassroots – with our first year, I believe we had just a handful of participants and raised only around $15,000. Now, we have a fully booked golf course and regular donors who are excited to see the save the date to make the donation. It is a very humbling experience when you see so many people show up and support something you get behind. A very special shout-out to the people who didn’t even golf or attend the 19th hole that donated – they gave purely to help the cause – it is amazing!
At my core, I am a stats and facts guy. And during this process we are exposed to some amazing people at Dana-Farber, and I picked up one thing I had to share. Did you know that Dana-Farber is the only hospital ranked in the top five nationally by U.S. News and World Report in both adult and pediatric cancer care? That is remarkable.
